The short version

Tribora is a shared organiser for your household. Use it for your family's plans, be kind to the people you share it with, and don't try to break it or get into other households. Your content is yours. It's free to use at the moment, and we'll tell you before that changes.

Who we are

Tribora is provided by Chris Prime, based in England (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using Tribora, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy, which explains what we store and why.

Your account

  • You must be 18 or over to create an account.
  • Give us accurate details, keep your password safe, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account.
  • You're responsible for what happens under your account.
  • Children can be part of a household without their own account (for example in the kids' view). The adults in the household are responsible for how children use Tribora.

Households

Everything you add to a household (events, tasks, lists, meals, recipes, schools, rewards) can be seen and changed by the other people in it. Only invite people you trust. Anyone in a household can invite others, cancel invites, and add or change the household's content.

Your content

You own what you put into Tribora. You give us permission to store it, process it and show it to the people in your household, only so that we can run the app for you. You're responsible for having the right to add anything you upload, such as photos or recipes copied from elsewhere.

Acceptable use

Please don't:

  • use Tribora for anything illegal, harmful or abusive, or to harass anyone;
  • try to get into another household's data, or anyone else's account;
  • interfere with the app, overload it, or scrape it with automated tools;
  • copy, resell or reverse-engineer the app, beyond what the law allows.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, and will tell you why where we can.

Other services

Some features rely on other services: Google Calendar, a school's calendar link, recipe pages you link to, weather and bank-holiday data, and the push services that deliver notifications. Their own terms apply to them, and we can't promise they'll always be available or accurate.

Reminders and important dates

Reminders, school dates and notifications are there to help, but they can be late, missed or wrong (for example if your phone is offline or a term date was entered incorrectly). Don't rely on Tribora alone for anything critical, such as medicines or legal or medical appointments.

Changes to the app and price

We're always improving Tribora, so features may change or be removed. Tribora is free at the moment. If we ever introduce paid features, we'll tell you beforehand and you won't be charged without agreeing to it.

Ending

You can stop using Tribora and delete your account at any time in Profile → Delete account (the privacy policy explains what happens to your data). We may close the service or an account with reasonable notice, except where we have to act sooner, for example for a serious breach of these terms.

Our responsibility to you

We work hard to keep Tribora running and your data safe, but we provide it “as is” and can't promise it will always be available or free of errors.

We're not responsible for losses that weren't foreseeable, for business losses (this is a personal app), or for losses caused by things outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law doesn't allow it to be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Nothing here affects your legal rights as a consumer.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If there's a dispute, the courts of England and Wales can deal with it, although if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top, and tell you in the app beforehand if the change is significant. If you keep using Tribora after that, the new terms apply.
